If you work in facilities management you could help on a new research project:
Research Project on Facilities Management
The Institute for Human Rights and Business (IHRB) are undertaking a short research study into Facilities Management. The research will seek to identify the knowledge and extent of engagement between the FM sector and human rights best practice with a particular focus on company obligations under the UK Modern Slavery Act (2015). A short research report on the study will be produced later in the year along with guidance for business.
All companies can be vulnerable to the risk of forced labour in both their direct operations or extended supply chains. The project seeks to identify key areas of risk for the industry and how these challenges might be addressed. IHRB would welcome any company delivering FM services or contracting with FM suppliers to take part in the research. Participation is anonymous and involves just one call with a researcher based on a set of questions supplied in advance. Your company’s participation would make a big difference to the accuracy and usefulness of the final report.
For more information or to take part please email Waleria Schuele at IHRB firstname.lastname@example.org
